I need help with my art.

I would love it if I could get some advice on the best pencils. I also would love to learn how to draw people. Does anyone have a reference? How do you make them real looking? etc. Please help me out. Thanks.

for the journal entry: i use a mechanical pencil personally and i think Doc. Frosty does too. as for drawing people i use simple Manga style in my own unique fashion. hmm really people......look at actual people? sorry not good with real
